Heroic Hearts Process Psychedelic Coach & Facilitator Training
Whether you’re beginning your journey or expanding an existing practice, our Psychedelic Coach & Facilitator Training Program prepares you to provide ethical, trauma-informed care grounded in the Heroic Hearts Process. The curriculum is uniquely veteran-informed, and the skills and frameworks apply broadly to supporting psychedelic healing for veterans, trauma survivors, and the wider community.
The Heroic Hearts Process offers two stackable certification pathways:
- Psychedelic Integration Coach — focused on preparation, integration, and ongoing support
- Facilitator Training — focused on holding space during psychedelic sessions and understanding the legal frameworks for facilitation in states like Oregon
Both pathways combine academic study, experiential learning, and cultural competency training. Participants complete over 90 hours of coursework, 50+ hours of live online instruction, and a 40-hour in-person practicum.
The Facilitator pathway also fulfills Oregon Health Authority (OHA) prerequisites for psilocybin facilitator licensure.

For those called to walk alongside clients throughout their healing journey. Integration Coaches help people prepare for psychedelic experiences with intention, navigate the emotions and insights that arise, and translate the experiences into meaningful, lasting change. Through preparation and integration coaching, they provide the continuity of care that helps transform a single experience into long term change.

Become a Facilitator
For those who want to guide clients through psychedelic experiences. The Facilitator Pathway builds on the Integration Coach curriculum, adding the specialized ethical, practical, and experiential training needed to safely facilitate psychedelic sessions. Through advanced coursework and a supervised practicum, graduates are prepared to facilitate psychedelic experiences across a variety of settings and meet the educational requirements for Oregon Psilocybin Facilitator licensure.

No. While our curriculum is uniquely veteran-informed and grounded in the Heroic Hearts Process, the skills and frameworks taught throughout the program are broadly applicable to supporting people through psychedelic healing.
We welcome students from a variety of backgrounds, including coaches, therapists, healthcare professionals, aspiring facilitators, and others interested in ethical, trauma-informed psychedelic care. Whether you’re beginning your journey or expanding an existing practice, you’ll gain practical skills that can be applied across diverse populations.
As part of our mission to expand veteran access to care, eligible veterans receive significantly reduced tuition ($2,000 compared to the standard $7,500), with a limited number of additional scholarships available. We believe veterans who have experienced the transformative potential of psychedelic healing bring invaluable lived experience to this work, and we’re committed to helping cultivate the next generation of veteran coaches, facilitators, and leaders serving the veteran community.
No. Graduating from our Facilitator Pathway does not automatically grant Oregon Psilocybin Facilitator licensure. However, the program meets Oregon’s educational requirements for licensure and prepares students to pursue licensure through the Oregon Health Authority.
Students are responsible for completing any additional state requirements, including the Oregon licensing exam, application process, background check, and any future requirements established by the Oregon Health Authority.
The program is designed to be completed over 22 weeks, combining the flexibility of asynchronous online learning with weekly live instruction and experiential training.
Students complete approximately 90 hours of online coursework, 50 hours of live instruction and skills training, and a 40-hour in-person practicum for the Facilitator Pathway. Throughout the program, you’ll participate in weekly live classes, office hours, discussion boards, journal reflections, coaching practice, and graded assignments designed to help you build confidence through application, not just theory.
While most students complete the program in 22 weeks, participants have up to 12 months from the start of their cohort to fulfill all program requirements if additional time is needed.
Most students should expect to dedicate approximately 8–10 hours per week, depending on the module and their learning pace, in addition to attending the weekly live session.
Tuition for the Psychedelic Coach & Facilitator Training Program is $7,500. As part of our mission to expand veteran access to psychedelic care, eligible veterans may enroll for $2,000, and a limited number of additional scholarships are available.
Tuition includes all online coursework, live instruction, learning materials, and program support. Students are responsible for personal expenses associated with the program, including transportation, lodging, meals, technology access, and any costs associated with the Facilitator Pathway practicum, such as psilocybin services where applicable.

Yes. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), and demonstrate sufficient English proficiency to participate in coursework. As part of the admissions process, you’ll submit an application, personal statement, complete an admissions interview, provide references, and undergo a background screening.
While prior experience in coaching, mental health, or psychedelic care is welcomed, it is not required. We welcome applicants from a variety of professional backgrounds who are committed to ethical, trauma-informed practice and serving others through the Heroic Hearts Process.
